Straps / Bands
Are the straps and bands interchangeable?
Our leather straps and NATO bands can be purchased separately to change on your favourite watch however they are not compatible with other ranges.
For example, our leather straps fit on our leather style watches and our NATO bands fit on our NATO style watches.
NATO straps are easily interchangeable. However, our leather range requires a springbar tool to change.
Please note: The straps available for purchase online are currently only interchangeable with our Classic Leather watches.
Are the watches waterproof?
Our leather range of watches are not waterproof, rather water resistant (3 ATM). They can only be exposed to light splashes of water such as rain or washing your hands. It’s not recommended to expose your leather strap to water/moisture as it can reduce the lifespan of the strap.
Our NATO range of watches are waterproof to '5 ATM'. This classification means that it is suitable for light water recreation activities in shallow water, swimming, showering, rain, boating etc. It's not so suitable for high water pressure activities like surfing, diving and water sports.

How can I look after my straps and bands?
To keep your straps in good condition we recommend:
Avoid the leather strap coming into contact with water and moisture, oils, perfumes or cosmetics as this can deteriorate the lifespan of the leather.
Avoid over-exposure to extreme heat & moisture.
Rinsing our NATO bands in cold soapy water and leaving to air dry will make them look as good as new.
Shipping & Delivery
When can I expect to receive my order?
Orders are dispatched Monday-Friday from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia. Please allow up to 48 hours for orders to be dispatched.
Uncle Jack offers free worldwide shipping for every order. The shipping times vary from 5 - 20 days depending on your location. If you require your watch by a certain date we highly recommend opting for our Express Shipping option.
Express Shipping is available on all orders for just $14.99 USD. Transit times are roughly 2-6 days depending on your location.
Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Our international courier is DHL International.
Can I change my order and/or address once it has been placed?
Please check your confirmation email once the order has been placed. If an order needs to be changed or cancelled after being processed, please contact us immediately. If you have made an error in your delivery address, please contact our customer support team immediately. If your order has already been shipped, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect details entered.
Exchanges & Returns
What is your exchange/returns policy?
Uncle Jack offers a 30-day return policy after the item(s) has been shipped from our warehouse.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange within this period, your product must be:
- In the same condition as sold (plastic clip intact and clear screen on watch dial) with the original box
- You must have proof of purchase (Order # & Name)

How long is your warranty period?
Uncle Jack offers a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty on all watches.
What is covered by the warranty?
Any errors caused by the manufacturing of the watches such as defects will be covered by warranty.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Our 1 year warranty does not include any damage caused to the watch through everyday use eg. dropping your watch, bumps, wear and tear etc.
Our warranty does not include the watch battery.
The manufacturer’s warranty also does not include general ‘wear and tear’ to the watch strap or any external/environmental impacts upon the visibility of the monogram.
Our Leather Range is not covered by warranty from water damage. Our NATO Range is covered by warranty from water damage for activities under the 5ATM classification.
